Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Westin San Diego
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 22, 2013

Everything about the hotel was terrific except for the ridiculously high parking prices at valet and also across the street at the self-park location.

The hotel is not clean. As soon as we walk into the room, there was half eatern peanut on the floor. The fridge has a frozen foam cup from previous guest. The blanket has spots on them, the sheets are not tucked in at the bed's end. The staff at front desk are snaughty. We didn't dress well, and didn't have nice car, and that can be reflected from their attitude. The worse part is the parking, which cost $32/day. There is no self-parking, valet only. There is no free internet which was mentioned on their rates. It costs $12.95/day. This is totally not the Westin we expected. ...

Nice, but dated. Not enough television for kids.

$33.
The hotel was beautiful. I had 3 kids, and made sure they weren't running around the lobby, because this seemed to be a hotel for business travelers. However, the rooms were clean, we had a nice view. I saw the pool outside the window, but never got to go in, but it was available. We had a fridge. Best tip, park across the street in the parking garage for $15 bucks a night rather then pay the hotel $33 bucks to park it there for you. ...

Don't expect the front desk to do anything for you other than give you a room key. The bell men and valet staff are wonderful. They know the local area and are able to help you with most questions when the front desk staff won't. Rooms are slightly small, but that is expected for the location. Rooms not quite as clean as I am accustomed to for a Westin.

This is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location. The service was excellent and it was particularly great for couples or business travelers.
