Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Westin Seattle
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.June 13, 2013

The hotel was amazing! Right in the heart of downtown. The only issue we had was when we were checking in we were told that our three rooms had double beds. Since there were three couples we wanted to upgrade to king size beds. The lady at the front said that they were overbooked and would charge $10 a night. But eventually she finally did give us the king rooms with no charge. So why say that they are overbooked when there were rooms available? On the priceline website there should an option as to whether we want double or king size beds. ...

We will definitely come back. I'll make sure and call ahead next time as soon as we book the room to get a king room. The staff did their best to accommodate, however, and gave us free internet service and late checkout as a consolation. Bedding was super comfortable and the room AC was well modulated and quiet. We didn't have a great view, but I've stayed here before and there are many great views from the rooms. We didn't try any of the on-property restaurants except for drinks and snacks in the lobby bar (okay -- not super impressive), BUT it's a short walk to four Tom Douglas restaurants (Lola is our fav). The coffee bar in the entry to the burger bistro was very reasonable and good. A short walk away, check out Dimitriou's Jazz Alley, which pulls in top national talent and doesn't have a bad seat in the house. Walk to Belltown and visit trendy shops and restaurants. Take the monorail ($4.50 round trip) to Seattle Center for the rock and roll museum, the new Chihuly glass exhibit/garden, fun weekend fairs, people watching, and more. Pike's Place is only a five block walk down, but be prepared to do some huffing coming back up the hill. All in all, great memories. ...
