Noisy with intermittent sounds all through the night; made it very difficult to sleep; did not pick up my breakfast order. Bad experience. Would not recommend to anyone.

The Westin St. Francis is located on Union Square & in the best location you could possibly want for touring (via foot) downtown San Francisco. Location is great for site seeing, shopping and restaurants. The hotel is old, but very well kept maintaining a sense of regalness and character. The standard rooms are small but the tall ceilings, crown moulding, marble bathrooms, Westin bedding & linens, and updated furniture provide a very nice & comfortable stay. It was also convenient having Michael Mina's Bourbon Steak hotel located on the property. Would definitely stay here again and hope that I'm able to do so via Priceline from which I received an excellent price. ...

Family Traveling with Young Children
Although the room was small, the location was excellent. The front desk, housekeeping, doorman were all friendly and attentive to our needs.

Solo Traveler
Good hotel. Not great, but good. Dated hallways, but the rooms were quite adequate and comfortable. The bathtub & shower were very 1980s but the rest of the bathroom was OK. I would stay again, but with lowered expectations.
