Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Willows Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location was great, staff was friendly.
Temperature was pretty hot, outdoor noise in morning was somewhat loud.

Had a good time, would definitely stay again.

Hotel is very conveniently located. step out of the hotel and you are within reach of food and shopping establishments.
we were next to the road and was woken up by the sound of traffic. Is a fairly faint sound to heavy sleepers but one that you could get used to if you live in the city

Overall a pretty goof deal. The hotel had good continental breakfats, staff was nice and had foresight of guests needs. hotel is very conveniently located. would stay theyre again.

Very good value, staff helpful, room pleasant and well-furnished.
The subway is further than we thought- a good half-mile walk.

This hotel is about 15 minutes north of downtown, near Lincolcn Park. It's in a quiet street, but near and bustling, old-fashioned neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants. Very clean, neat and comfortable and with a more personal feel than the big downtown hotels. Handy for the zoo and nature museum and the lake. A taxi to downtown will be about $15, but you save the money on parking. The subway is quite a long walk away, especially in winter.Friendly staff and no surprises on the bill. A good place to stay when visiting Chicago. ...read more

Great location by Lincoln park, it is within walking distance (~0.5 mile) of the L and on frequent bus routes.
Small room, door did not prevent much noise from the hallway.

A fairly priced hotel near Lincoln park, you get what you expect from the star ratings & other reviews. It was a comfortable space without being extravagent. Would recommend to others who want to stay very close to downtown Chicago.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is very cute and quaint. Lots of extras in the room.
It was a bit noisy - sound proofing between rooms not so good and constant shutting of other room doors was disturbing.

I would like them to offer in room coffee - having to go down to lobby was inconvenient first thing in the morning - felt I had to dress first even though they did provide robes. Very nice hotel and I will return on my next visit to Chicago. They even extended my check out happily.

Very Clean, Friendly and Helpful Staff, Very Convenient to Everything,Great Restaurants Nearby
Breakfast could use a little boost, but it was sufficient.

I loved this hotel and would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone staying in the Chicago area. Most importantly, it was very clean and the staff goes out of there way to please you. They even printed out my boarding pass and told me when the next bus or train would be arriving. In addition, it was nearby tons of transportation to anywhere you want to go in the City. If you want to stay in the area there is every store you can think of and many delicious restaurants nearby. The neighborhood itself is upscale and fun to walk around. ...read more

I liked the size, the boutique style and that it wasn't like a big chain hotel.
Ice machine across the hall from my room.

I really loved this hotel, it reminded me of a hotel I stayed in New York, loved the neighborhood and the small intimate feel of the place. Staff was very helpful.
