Hotel Guest Reviews of the Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 3, 2013

One of the nicest hotels in the area, great bar and easy access to everything around the airport areas.

Great location No issues. Parking is always a hassle and they charge $ 18 .00 Per day plus Canada tax. That should be known up front. Elevators are slow. Other than than nice place.

Overall I was pleased with what I got for what I paid. It is close to the airport which was nice, however you hear alot of noise from planes coming in as a result. I would stay there again however if I got it at a good price. I would not pay full price though.

Priceline booked me into a room with two beds, but since it was only myself I asked at the front desk if there was a king bed available, which it turned out there was. High atop the hotel on the 9th floor I had a great view of Toronto to the south and the lead-up to the active runway at YYZ. Unfortunately, this runway caused me some inconvenience during my stay and made for a difficult night sleeping. While the hotel claims to have upgraded sound-proof windows they clearly aren't doing their job well. All night you could hear planes taking off. At one point I started to realize when the larger planes took off because it was thunderous. The last flight of the night was at 1:40am which is when I finally got to sleep. I stayed at the Hotel Indigo multiple times down the street and was facing the same runway during take-off and their rooms without a doubt have sound-proofing down to a science. I'm sure it's because of my location and view out the window that I got the brunt of the sound and it would be much better in other parts of the hotel. My last point to note is that I like my rooms cold and while the thermostat on the wall said that it had reached my requested 65º you could feel it clearly hadn't. The room was nicely appointed with a king bed, LCD TV, spacious work area, and lounge chair. Everything in the room looked very nice (see attached pictures) and was clearly recently renovated. The bathroom, however, did look a bit tired. No problem though, because you only spend 10 minutes in there a day. The hot water for the shower was great at night but in the morning at 7:15-7:30 it was turned up to the maximum and was barely hot enough, a common problem for any hotel but worth noting. All in all, besides the sleep quality I enjoyed my stay here! If given a choice whether to return here or the Indigo or Hampton Corporate Center I would jump on either of those before returning here. If Priceline set me up here again, I would definitely stay again! ...

This hotel is fine if you need to be close to the airport. there is nothing within walking distance, so if you don't have a car you're stuck here. The public spaces, fitness center, and room service are fine. Nothing special about this hotel, but it is clean and comfortable and easy to get in and out of the airport.
