Hotel Guest Reviews of the Towneplace Suites By Marriott Charlotte University Research Park
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.March 20, 2012

The hotel location, amenities, and front desk staff were all excellent. Everything was going smoothly until we returned to our hotel room in the evening and discovered that, not only was the air conditioner not working, a whole third of the carpeted room was wet from the air conditioner leaking. We called the front desk to report the problem, and we assumed it would either be fixed or we would be moved to another room. It was a hot Spring night in Charlotte. Air conditioner was definitely warranted. Instead, the person at the front desk says "Well I am here alone so there's nothing I can do. Just tell them about it when you check out." WOW! I am sure there were room available that they could have moved us to. The parking lot was not even close to being full. So we slept in a 80-90 degree 2nd floor room all night. Not fun!!! Other than that, the hotel was OK. Not exceptional but nice enough. ...

The hotel was very clean. You couldn't tell that pets were allowed to stay there because there were no odors anywhere. The pool was clean; not one leaf was in the water! The room had a nice kitchen & the shower had good water pressure.

My only complaint is that I needed a key to to get inside, I was locked out getting something out of the car.
