Things To Do Guest Reviews for Disneyland

Disneyland is the best. I did not go much as a child, but started going at the age of 19. For 3 years straight I went 2 times a year. I absolutely love Halloween Time. I am now returning with my husband and he has not been there in over ten years. This will be our honeymoon/vacation. I have our entire 2 days packed full of things to see, do, and experience at Disneyland. Dinner at the Blue Bayou, Fantasmic, Aladdin, Tiki Room, and so much more. It is absolutely beautiful here and so clean and everyone is so friendly. I will continue to come here every chance I get.

Anaheim, California is a nice small town that lies in the shadow of Los Angeles, CA. We went there for a church conference, but after that, we had time to explore the area. San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Juan Capistrano are all close so there is no lack for entertainment or attractions. We stayed in a Holiday Inn near Costa Mesa. The room was clean and served well enough for sleeping. The main attraction in the area is Disneyland. If you are visiting DisneyLand, I would recommend staying in Anaheim. Easy access to nearby metropolitan areas and easy access to the ocean.

First trip to Disneyland was in 1967 I was 8 yrs old. Every trip back makes you feel like a small child with no problems. Always a great time.

I have been to Disneyland many times since my childhood. My visit prior to this last one was 15 years ago, when my husband and I took our now married daugher. This last visit (2/26/05 ) was to take my five year old grand daughter. I wanted her to experience the magic of it all. Only to be very disappointed for different reasons. The first being the fact that we never seen Mickey the entire time we were in the park. As a matter a fact we seen only chip & dale, and pluto on Main Street as we first walked into the park. I do not understand when this park is based on Mickey, why he was no where to me found?! Three Main attractions closed. Still paying full price to enter the park. I found the park itself to be in an unkept manner. I do realize Calif. has had a lot of rain, and it is winter months for them. The vegetation throughout the park looking shabby. The restrooms were filthy, and toilets plugged and in two different restroom locations, toilets running over with watse! Sinks filthy, garbage over flowing.... Shame on you Disney, what a dissapointment! My overall experience was poor. I will not return to Disneyland. They have nailed me for the very last time. We will return to Disneyworld where the magic happens.

I approached this vacation cynically, telling people we were going to the "Happiest Place on Earth." At the ripe old age of 41, I was venturing into Disneyland for the first time. My four year old daughter and 9 year old son were more enthusiastic. In a very short time, I was the lead Mouseketeer, having a blast throughout the park on fun rides and enjoying the shows. Bring lots of film or digital camera cards - you will need them. Get a park hopper pass and go to California Adventure. It is awesome. We were there five days, from opening to close, and did not see or do everything although we were constantly on the go. Okay, we took the Jungle Cruise three times (each staffer does a slight variation and they are all very funny) and did Tiki Room twice because it such a hoot. DO NOT MISS FANTASMIC. Super cool. We will return!
