The Fountains of Bellagio are often an unexpected, pleasant surprise for tourists strolling along the Las Vegas Strip. Free and scheduled on a regular basis throughout the day, the Fountains 'dance' to a variety of musical selections in ways that will fascinate the imagination. Located in an artificial lake in front of the majestic Bellagio Hotel and Casino, the Fountains are estimated to have cost $50 million to build. The complex fountain displays require over 1,200 nozzles and over 4,500 lights to create effects like dancing water, upward shots of water and water blasts. Beautifully choreographed, the Fountains are timed perfectly to a variety of Broadway, classical and modern rock songs. The Fountains were created by WET Design, a leader in exhibit design and specialists in water features and innovative experiential technology.

Conjuring up the quintessential "Las Vegas image" is this Bellagio "spectacle" (rated Most Popular and No. 1 for Appeal among Las Vegas Attractions) where onlookers "ooh and ahh" at the "mesmerizing" water show synchronized to "thunderous" music that's best enjoyed with your "arms wrapped around your special someone"; there's "ample room" to appreciate it from "out on the boulevard", though diehards declare it's most "memorable" "from a lakefront room in the hotel"; either way, it's truly "awe-inspiring", "and it's free!"
