Named Long Island's Most Popular restaurant for the 16th year running, this "mecca of beef" in Great Neck (spun off from the Brooklyn original) serves up "superb", "melt-in-your-mouth" steaks and sides in a "masculine" setting – and some even claim the "waiters aren't as grumpy as people say"; indeed, "they pour a healthy drink to make you forget" the hefty tab – just remember to bring a debit card or cash (and "lots of it").
