Fans are in "paradise" playing on what they call "one of the best mountain courses" around (home to the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship), a "spectacular" spread set against the "breathtaking backdrop" of Lake Tahoe, where you'll "use all your clubs and then some" and, thanks to the high-altitude air, "you can have a career drive on nearly every hole"; in sum, it's a "great challenge – for those who can afford it"; P.S. "don't miss the malts at the turn."

"You can whack the ball a mile in the thin mountain air" at this "nice interlude to gambling" surrounded by the Sierra Nevada Mountains; the "run-of-the-mill" layout is "wide and flat" with "relatively large, fairly slow greens", but the setting is "stunning"; since this spread "doesn't cost an arm and a leg", perhaps it's all those "good-value" hunters "watching out for late snow", "water hazards", "geese and wolves" here that make for "five-hour endurance rounds."
