"Hidden about 70 miles north of NYC" in the Hudson Valley, this municipal "gem" is a "tight, hilly", "ingenious layout through the woods" with a total yardage that's certainly "not long" – "put away the driver and use irons for better placement" – and plays even shorter given the many doglegs; it's "reasonably priced [even] for out-of-towners", so when you factor in the "accommodating staff" and "convenient" location, it's a "surprise find" and a "terrific value."
