No-nonsense types insist the original "gas-station location is perfect" for enjoying "some of the world's best" pulled pork, "tender" ribs and other "amazing" low-cost cooking at this "great" barbecue joint in Roeland Park; if the Olathe spot's ambiance seems "less authentic", at least there's more space for gnawing.

This "first-rate" Olathe course is "a nice surprise in Kansas", but "you'd better bring some extra balls" because "if you're not straight off the tee, you'll be borrowing some" – or digging them out of 60 bunkers; a 2006 U.S. Senior Open qualifying site, it was designed to be walkable, but given that it's also a long challenge set on hilly terrain, some wonder "why would you [walk] with GPS in the carts?"
