"Sitting on a hill in the Santa Cruz Mountains allows for pretty ocean views while keeping you further away from the fog" at this "comfortable" "convention hotel" about 90 minutes from the San Francisco Airport; however, the "natural beauty of the surroundings" can't cover the fact that "this place's facilities and service are geared to large groups" – hence, it's "not a place for a pleasure" trip, though a "wonderful [way] to reward your staff with an off-site event"; N.B. a post-Survey refurb may outdate the Room score.
