"It doesn't get better than staying right on the river in Downtown Westport" say fans of this Relais & Châteaux "European boutique" inn that's "worth the splurge" (it "costs an arm and a leg") and features an on-site spa; each of the "truly unique" rooms in its 1873 Italianate building is a "jewel" bedecked with fanciful, hand-painted walls, and although there's nowhere to eat in-house, it's just a "short walk to the restaurants and shops on Main Street."
