Although it's "hard to imagine", this "great parkland layout" by Tom Fazio "was once an airfield", but now it's a "regular stop on the Nationwide Tour" (the Bank of America Open), boasting "short, challenging par 4s and monster par 4s", with greens that are "tough to read at times", so "only serious golfers need apply"; while a few critics find it "way overpriced for the Chicago market", to others it's simply a "joy to play."
