Wild Dunes' cheaper yet "solid" Tom Fazio design is tough "but not gimmicky" and plays further inland than its sister course, providing a "great tour of the Intracoastal Waterway" and "saltwater marshes"; still, it's close enough to the ocean to warrant "bringing an anchor on gusty days", as well as a "ball retriever", thanks to all the marshes and dunes; P.S. "watch out for gators."
