"Get warmed up for the season" at this "above-average" "utility course for all levels", a "well-maintained muni" featuring "open fairways, tight greens" and a "challenging" but "playable" back nine; although it can get "crowded" with "slow play as a result" ("a round can take almost six hours"), it's "extremely cheap for residents" of Stamford, who say the "covered and heated range", "two restaurants and putting area" also add to its "excellent value."
