Big and clean rooms. Good location.
No restaurant. Poor public spaces.
The hotel has a great location and it is easy to reach. Easy exit of Manhattan on the way to the JFK international airport. There is enough space in the room and also a working space with a cabinet.

Easy to walk to work. That is why I selected it.
Room was an inferior one with old TV and bad location.
They are the ones not up-to-date. TV and in poor locations, e.g. by elevator shaft or stair cases with doors that open/close often. That is the trade off for a discounted room. Bad location!

Amazing view from the room, extremely curteous staff.
An adorable space with very helpful and curteous staff. They were able to help us get around the city and had good money saving suggestions! Convenient location about two blocks from the subway. Beautiful views of the city and nice exercise room including a small yoga space.

Had a kitchen and a big work desk.
Sort of outdated.
Hotel was probably a 4 star in the 60s, but has since become outdated. The room was nice, but you could tell the main areas needed to be renovated.

Room temperature and cooling options.
The hotel room air conditioner was of the cheap variety. It was noisy and never went off all night. The temperature control allowed you to set lower but the room never got cooler than 71 degrees F. This room should never have been a 4 star property.

Thoroughly enjoyed linens, and pillows.
Construction work/ drilling noise on floor above.
The hotel room was very comfortable. We liked having a small kitchen in our room. The workout room / gymn was fantastic. Concierge was very helpful!
