Excellent location and
large room.
This hotel is badly in need of renovations, and the carpets need cleaning badly.
The room I was given was not a 2 star. Admittedly, the room was very large, with a small kitchenette. However, I expected 4-star appearance and quality. This room most certainly did not meet those expectations.

Our room was available at the time we arrived 10:3O AM so we were allowed to check in; we had gone to hotel at that time in order to check our bags.
No complimentary morning beverage in room or hotel.

Very good and convenient location. Big room, apartment style.
Very old and dirty. The worst were the curtains. Wireless not included in the price.
This hotel should be renovated. I would have prefered to have a smaller clean room with wireless and to pay less than a big dirty apartment.

Cleanliness.
I had to extend my stay and Priceline couldn't acquire an extension for me so I called and the hotel had me pay a higher rate for the extended evening
The bed is very hard so I couldn't fall asleep.

The staff was very courteous.
The room and it's amenities were not up to par with a 3.5 star hotel.
Great staff, good location. Room and its amenities are not 3.5 star. TV, wall coverings, paint, grout, appliances, etc were not up to par.

It was very central to the NY sights.
The managers were not very friendly.
Our original room was horrendous! It was a one star at best, the size of a closet and very worn and tattered. It took us 1 1/2 hours of arguing for them to put us in a more acceptable room for a 3 1/2 star hotel.
