Americas Best Value Inn And Suites

This hotel was quite adequate for an over night stay. The bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff was very professional. Would stay again.

Upon arrival I saw some major puddles in the front parking lot & the front parking lot could use some revamping. No problem with check in fast & friendly service. The room was cool enough when first being entered. The furniture in the room was old but quaint. A clean/small microwave and a micro fridge/freezer was also clean. A 25 inch TV or so and the remote did not work no big deal as TV channel was left on Cartoon Network whole time. I gotta tell you there is this odd but workable coffee maker in the room, but the coffee that was included in the room, was very good, I never tried it before. The bathroom had one of those heat lamps, minor flaws in the wall and imperfections in the tub that really shouldn't phase anyone. The water pressure in the shower was above average for a two star hotel. The beds were too 'used' for my taste, they were firm mattresses but had a sinking feel, plenty of pillows for each of the queen beds in the room, which was a good thing as the pillows were on the thin side. I saw some minor fur on the sheets. but this was a pet friendly hotel. The darn alarm was left on, woke me up at 7:00 AM. The breakfast more then made up for it: you have this Belgian waffle maker, pour the mix, flip the maker and a very fluffy and thick, huge, tasty, waffle. Four cereals to choose from, three different kids of bagels, toast, way too many pastry items and a dole fruit mix cup the juices apple and orange were from concentrate, so not so good there. The hotel is a no frills hotel for the on-the-go traveler. This would be ideal for a one night "just need to rest and move on" place, but not one I would recommend for someone visiting Melbourne. It's also right off of I-95, so it's usually attractive for truckers and families who need to stay somewhere for the night, but there's nothing great about the rooms, just worn our furniture and overall average accommodations. read more

Simply a death trap, don't even go there, highly not recommended if you tend to sleep at night (mosquitoes are horrible), linens and blankets are least to say dirty. Definetely not a 2 star hotel!

I ended up paying more for the room than what was advertised at the hotel.
