It had a roof.
The smell and rundown condition.
This hotel was a 2.5 star, it wasn't even a economy 1 star hotel. The place was dirty, it smelled, people were living in the hotel full time. It was more of a flop house than a hotel for travelers.

It was dirty and smelled bad.
This hotel was disgusting. Our room looked used and there were no towels. It also smelled funny. We didn't stay. We left to find a nicer hotel. This was one star economy at best and not what we had bid on.

It was great to have two queens in the room. Beautiful big bathroom. Friendly manager at the desk. Decent free breakfast.

Nothing.
Smelled, unkept receptionist, no TV in lounge/food area.
Poor for what I asked for.

This hotel was a great bargain.
Parking garage under the building did not have keyed entry. Anyone could get in.
I thought this was going to be a hole in the wall hotel because I wasn't familiar with the name and I used to live in the area. I was very much surprised that it was previously the Best Western. It was nothing fancy, but definitely a good stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the front desk clerk was helpful.

The room was newly renovated & comfortable
Its location is a bit off-putting, but not dangerous. Its exterior does not reflect the quality within
Being next to a truck garage, the hotel's location is a bit off-putting, but not dangerous. However the location is VERY convenient, being merely steps from the toll plaza. Its exterior does not reflect the quality within. Although not in the greatest of taste, the entire places seems newly renovated. The bathroom was redone. The bedroom had new carpet, bedding and a reclining chair (!)-a great feature for a road-weary traveler. For the price, this place cannot be beat. read more
