Hotel Guest Reviews of the Americas Best Value Inn
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 28, 2009

The room itself was not very nice, bathroom door was coming off hinge and bath did not look clean. The staff however was very friendly and tried their best to accommodate me. I was very impressed with all the staff.

This hotel is not a good hotel if you are staying for any length of time. If you want to just sleep and leave it is fine. It was not a smooth check in, the staff was dealing with all kinds of issues, (people's room not ready, people being charged more than they should). It was a hot day and a long drive and we just wanted to relax, it was hard when there were so many issues and had to wait at the check in office. The room was not very clean, there were webs hanging from the ceiling. The stations on the TV were not clear. I was supposed to have a micro-fridge and an iron neither was in the room. The hotel staff was not very helpful, they did not tell you anything about the hotel, via location of ice machine or how to work anything in the room. I looked everywhere and did not see an ice machine. They programmed my key wrong I had to walk back to the office to have it fixed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. ...

We wanted something cheap and close to the zoo. We didn't expect much. We came prepared for a nasty room. We were pleasantly surprised that the room was not disgusting. We were disappointed though to find that there was no fridge and microwave, which caused us to have to eat out more and spend more money. Not all the rooms have this service. The heated pool and pets were allowed. They have a sign on the window that says no pets allowed. The phone did not work, so a repair person was called, then the AC died. We ended up moving all our stuff the next night to another room. The thing that was most inconvenient was the entrance from the main road to the hotel was almost invisible. The check in and out was speedy. Drive through service. ...

I would not stay at this hotel again or recommend to anyone I know. I contemplated leaving the room and finding another hotel, but was uncertain what I would find due to the fact that it was a holiday weekend.
