The price was in accordance to the motel.
I had to squash a roach.

Located next to Hobart college and a stones throw away from Lake Seneca, this motel offers an affordable room with 4 dining options across the street.

Nothing.
Visible mold. Dirty ice bucket.

This hotel was so bad, we didn't stay. Our room had visible mold on the bathroom facet and tub. Our ice bucket did not have a plastic bag and the ice bucket itself was dirty. Our mattress looked visibly dirty. There was no locked entry into the hotel, anyone could enter which was concerning for our safety.

Absolutely Nothing except the price. Pay more stay elsewhere.
Everything except the price. Pay more stay elsewhere.

We arrived somewhat late (after 9pm) and the front desk clerk greeted us with a what the hell do you want attitude. He gave us our room key and grunted goodnight. Upon arriving at our building, we thought we would be robbed walking in, it was dark, barely lit, and quite frankly kinda scary. As soon as we walked in the lobby, hate smell of smoke (in a nonsmoking building) hit us like a ton of bricks. The hallway smelled like a gym full of people. The room was hot, smelly, and the sheets were dirty, with hair in several places. There were 3 bugs in our room over 3 nights (3 species). Our keys didn't work 5 different times during the stay. The continental breakfast was nothing more than bagels and some warm juice. read more

Location.
Building maintenance needs attention.

This is a no frills no thrills place to sleep. Their breakfast leaves a lot to be desired.

Staff was
very nice, close to where I had work.
Decor was ugly and curtain cord broken.

It's convenient to the main roads into the Geneva area and to William Smith-Hobart College, Seneca Lake and other sites of interest, including Finger Lakes Wineries.

Close to HWS--there for a reunion
Smelly, sketchy, door didn’t' lock and easy access for anyone to the rooms.

Nothing but had to stay somewhere for 2 nights while in town for a funeral.
Dirty - dogs barking all night.

I should have stayed in Rochester and driven in to Geneva for the 2 days of the funeral.

Nothing. Worst hotel experience ever.
Dirty, bugs, rude management. Terrible customer service. It was terrible.

It was dirty and grungy. When I pulled back the sheets, I found a bug. Had my husband killed it and went to get the management. Manager was rude and insisted he did not see a bug. (It had already been killed and swept to the floor). The manager then just walked away, leaving our door ajar with no further comment.
