Welcome to the Americas Best Value Inn of Merrillville, Indiana. We are ideally located at I-65 and US 30, only 45 minutes from Downtown Chicago. We are conveniently located near shopping and more than 40 restaurants. All of our 110 guest rooms are located on the ground level with exterior entrances. Ten guest rooms have Kitchenettes that are furnished with a Mini-Stove, Mini-Fridge, and a Sink. All of our guest rooms are furnished with Microwaves, Mini-Fridges, Satellite TV with HBO, Complimentary Local Calls, and Wakeup Service. Connecting rooms are available upon request and availability. Discount rates of long term stays are available by directly contacting the hotel. We offer a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, complimentary parking, and guest laundry facilities on the property. Location wasn't far from conference hotel.
Not too easy to find due to lights on sign being out.

Wasn't too bad we didn't have room service the last day they over looked our room. I think Motel 6 might have been just as good; it rained while there so outdoor pool wasn't warm enough to swim in and that was okay since it wasn't too big of pool-not much bigger than a hot tub.
