Welcome to Americas Best Value Cypress Gardens Inn on Munras. We are conveniently located on Munras Avenue on Carmel Hill just a half block from Del Monte Shopping Center and two blocks from the historic Adobe District in Downtown Monterey. Our FEMA approved Monterey Peninsula hotel has 46 clean and comfortable guest rooms equipped with free hi-speed Internet access, microwaves, refrigerators, coffeemakers, irons, ironing boards, and free local calls. All rooms have either a private balcony or a courtyard overlooking the lush gardens with the pond and fountain. Our hotel also has two meeting rooms, laundry area, ice machines, and beverage machines. . Good location for a low price.
Not clean, bad smell, very poor continental breakfast.

It seemed that the smell was from an air freshener or something they were using to mask an underlying odor. It was unpleasant & felt unclean.

Beds were comfortable.
Price too high for the caliber of the hotel.

Beds were comfortable, swimming pool looked nice but too late to get in, breakfast area was too small, staff was helpful. I would not stay there again.
