The new AmericInn in McAlester is a gorgeous facility featuring amenities that reach beyond the expectations of the modern traveler. These include wireless or hard wired high speed internet throughout, Serta Plush Top Sleeper mattress, a large indoor pool and whirlpool, 27 inch flat screen TVs, leather Lazy Boy recliners in the business executive rooms, a fitness center and a massage room featuring the incredible Symphonic massage chair, a full hot breakfast with made to order eggs, biscuits and gravy, Belgium Waffels, and daily specials. A business center with free long distance and fax capability, free DVD library and player usage, and a guest laundry is also avalible. Of course every room has a beverage center, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, and an iron and ironing board. Large Sauna hot tub, personal attention from staff, great breakfast, free DVD player and selection of recent movies.

A pleasant surprise on our trip. Very clean, staff down home pleasant, room very comfortable, the breakfast was hot and tasty, there was a large group of 20 to 30 young teens (12 to 14) and the staff went to great lengths to be sure they had a good time but my wife and I were not bothered by the noise.

Good breakfast, milk and cookies in the evening, comfortable bed.
Besides a few ants in the room everything else was great.

Will definitely stay again in the future. You get a lot for the money.

The room was well equipped with frig and microwave and desk
shower curtain was too short and let water pray out into main bath floor

Good location, friendly and efficient staff. Rooms are comfortable and very well appointed with desk intrernet, frig and microwave, nice recliner chair. The only negative was the shower curtain was too short and left a space of about a foot between the curtain and the floor and water sprayed out iinto the main bath floor.

Front desk staff was great,location and cleanliness ,for the most part,
Stayed two nights. Bathroom was not touched at all after first night, not good business.

Overall stay was very nice. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful in all ways. Nice location and the hotel "perks" were great. Only one complaint. After our first night our bathroom was not touched by the maid service. Not even any fresh linens, but I will say that the front desk corrected the mistake immediately after we told them. Overall would recommend the hotel. read more

I liked everything and would stay at here again if I could.
The price was high compared to other 3 and 4 star hotels that I have stayed at. I stayed at the Westin, Galleria Dallas, TX for a lot less.

Other than the price, I liked this hotel. We felt the hotel lobby was wonderful and the little extras like pop corn, cookies & milk, the great pool and fireplace looked inviting for winter evenings. My husband enjoyed the puzzle also. We were on our way to Dallas and only spent the one night, however, the shower and bed were very comfortable and above what we expected. Oh I liked the fact it was quite, did not hear traffic noise or anything. read more
