Check in was difficult and lengthy because the access number American Inn had to call to verify our credit card, indicated that all of our credit cards were invalid. This was to take care of room damage or phone use that would not be covered by the payment that had already been made for the rooms.

Neat, clean and met our needs.
Air conditioning did not seem to cool correctly.
Very pleased with over stay. Staff was pleasant; motel was neat and clean. Area was great; just off the Interstate but was not far from attractions. Would stay there again if had the need to be in Mitchell SD again.

The breakfast was pretty good w/room to move
We didn't check in until 7PM and our room still wasn't ready.
The front desk lady was not friendly, never smiled. Pool area was nice but pool was freezing. Our room wasn't ready until after 7PM, the cleaning lady was still in our room and her B.O. filled the room. We were pretty much disappointed but survived.
