Room was attractive.
Shower curtain smelled bad.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Excellent location. Comfortable room. Really liked the staff. Shower curtain near toilet smelled bad.

No blinds or draperies on patio door, which faced east and overlooked bed. So at sunrise you were up whether you wanted to get up or not.

It's in the Historic District. Walking Distance to down town.
Had to pay to park
at the Inn.

The Inn was beautiful. I enjoying staying in the Historic District. The only complaint is having to pay for parking
at the Inn.

Great location, good size room.
Curtain next to toilet didn't smell too fresh.

Only a short walk to all the sights in historic Charleston, friendly staff at check-in. Room had a sofa and fridge with a nice flat screen TV. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again. Parking was extra, but that is normal in that area.

Perfect location in downtown Charleston, friendly staff, beautfiul facility.
Internet did not work, some minor repairs took a long time to be done.

Our stay at the Andrew Pinckney Inn was a very enjoyable one. We found the staff friendly and helpful and the hotel beautiful and well-located. There are not many hotels in Charleston better placed to enjoying the city's vibrant night life. The internet access at the hotel was terrible (at one point it took more than 15 minutes to load a search engine site), and even after I mentioned this to staff they proposed a resolution but never carried through with it. Overall, I would definitely recommend a stay at the Inn, but with caution that business travelers and those who need constant internet access may be left in the dark. read more

Charming.

The first night in this hotel was awful. Three people were crowded in a very small room with one bed. Second night moved to a larger room with two beds so it was awesome.

Good location within downtown Charleston.
Lack of convenient parking.

The hotel was structurally and aesthetically pleasing. I thought that the linens and showers could have been a bit more clean.

I enjoyed the way the room was furnished and decorated.
The door in the lobby was too noisy which made relaxation difficult.

Upon arrival I was very pleased with the friendly staff and the way the hotel was decorated. My first day/night took some getting used to because the door in the lobby slams every time someone comes in or out. Luckily I had ear plugs to sleep with. I would recommend bleaching or replacing the shower curtains more frequently due to black at the bottom. Other than those two things my stay was enjoyable. The location was good and we were able to park the car and walk the entire weekend. The coffee and lemonade in the lobby are a nice convenience. Unexpectedly I needed a computer with internet for work and the business office was a nice convenience. I will stay again but not sure that I'll accept room 101 due to the noisy lobby. read more

Beautiful room, great location.
Ice maker was 3 floors away.

This was a great hotel. Incredible location, beautiful room, maid staff was great. I can't believe this was only considered a 2 1/2 star hotel. Breakfast on the terrace was a perfect way to start the day, and a drink on the terrace was great way to end the evening. All in all, I was completely satisfied with this hotel.

The location.
Problem with ants.

The hotel was clean and the location was great. Parking was easy. I loved the terrace on the 4th floor.
