The room was realy nice for he price. Location was great. Bed was comfortable. Would ecommnd this hotel.
Service in the restaurant took forever, but when we finally got our food, it was really good and cheap.

This was really nice hotel for the price. Very nice rooms and comfortable beds. I would defiitely recommend this hotel.

The rooms in this hotel need to be renovated. The first room we were assigned had a strong mold smell and the AC thermostat did not work. We tried five other rooms until we settled on a one with least smell. We overpaid the price but the hotel would not give us an upgrade even though we had paid the ocean view price. They claimed they were all booked up. Not true! Since we were eventually given one due other moldy rooms. read more

The hotel desk staff was very friendly. It was centrally located.
The room's bath door opened on to the toilet and we never had hot water in the shower.

The Aston Kauai Beach At Makaiwa in Kapaa is centrally located and close to the Coconut Market Place and other shopping. While the hotel staff was friendly and helpful, the amenities of the hotel were not what was expected. The spa was not inviting and never noticed anyone in there. The workout room was too public where people could see you exercising; no privacy. The swimming pool area was decent but could certainly use some newer chairs and loungers. Also, the pool was ice-cold. Very few people ventured in and the hot tub was anything but hot; more like tepid bath water. read more
