Holiday Inn Darling Harbour

The hotel perhaps does not have luxury or up-to-date appearance, but is definitely at a very convenient location. And most importantly, the staff are very friendly and helpful (for someone like me who traveled to Oz for the first time). The room I had was clean and fine. I enjoyed my short stay there and would be more than happy to recommend this hotel. I did not use the internet service though, as previous reviewers have warned that it is expensive -- I don't want to pay 10USD per day for internet connection in hotels. read more

This hotel is great value for the money! The location is great, the rooms are lovely, and the staff is very helpful.

Good size rooms. Ask for a window that isn't facing a wall for more light. Location is great.

Clean, very convenient (if you don't mind walking a bit) with a great staff. The only downside was the price of the wireless internet connection (over $25 a day), however if your room faces McDonald's across the street, they have free wireless. In our case the room didn't face McDonald's so we did all our surfing, email, etc. in the lobby where we easily picked up the signal. I would not hesitate to

The hotel is in an excellent location, right next to Chinatown and right next to Darling Harbor. It has public transport within very easy reach. The rooms are spacious.
