Banks Hotel

This hotel is not for western travelers. The sink was used as an ash tray, there was a nightclub directly across the street that was very noisy. But most of all the staff was so RUDE. At four in the morning a member of staff got into a shouting match with a guest over the bill and it went on for at least 15-20 min before my husband had to get dressed and go ask them to be quiet-only the guest quieted down, the hotel employee kept yelling. Plus the walls were really thin so you could hear the next room's television and people snoring. Lastly, the free breakfast they provide was not pleasant-all cooked food very salty and milk was always warm and they closed it up earlier than they said breakfast would be served to. Anytime we asked the staff for something, it was like they didn't understand the question. Of three days we stayed there, one day our room didn't get serviced, the maid just threw clean towels on our unmade bed. read more
