Location of hotel to Michigan Ave/Downtown.
Rooms were small, and slightly weathered.

Hotel had basic amenities, but was booked on merely for the location and price. It was actually not a bad hotel, although the building felt rather small. The adjoining bathroom was spacious, but really to the point that was it was unnecessary. If the bedroom was allotted more space, it would have been much more appealing.

Wireless internet poor.

Good for an overnight stay in DT Battle Creek if that is what you need. I did not trust the carpets to be clean. Air conditioner was noisy and did not seem to work right. Free breakfast was lowest level of food. Donuts were cheap and maybe day-old. No outside rest area.

I can't think of a negative to report.

I was very pleased with my stay at the Baymont Battle Creek. One of the things that I look for in a hotel are quiet rooms and my room at the Baymont certainly was quiet and restful. The in-room mini-fridge and microwave were appreciated as was the ironing board and iron. I was glad that the hotel does not charge extra for wireless internet access and it was apparent that they had several wireless hubs serving the hotel which made for very good signal strength. Overall I felt the Baymont Battle Creek was an excellent value for the dollar. read more

The beds were comfortable, queen size would have been much better.
The carpets need to be cleaned.

This hotel was a good experience and would use this motel again when I return to Battle Creek for another visit. A very good continental breakfast, and very clean bathroom and pool area. A very pleasant stay.
