Description of Beachview Inn
Welcome to Beachview Inn at Clearwater Beach, Florida. Our beach front location on Gulfview Blvd is in the heart of South Beach. Enjoy the beautiful gulf views and feel the sand between your toes. We are just steps from the beach, shops, and restaurants. We have a large outdoor heated pool, private balconies with beach views and free parking. Before you head out to the beach, start your day with a complimentary continental breakfast. We offer standard king and two double bed rooms as well as king and two double bed suites and efficiencies. Our standard amenities to every room are wifi, cable tv, coffeemaker with free gourmet coffee, hairdryer, iron with board, and clock radio. Every room has an in room safe that can be used for a fee of 1.12 USD per day. Tax is included. Our gulf-pool view efficiencies include all the amenities plus a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, range, and all utensils. It also includes a living area with a sofa bed, private balcony, and full beach view. Our larger gulf view suites offer more space with a half wall separating the living area from the bedroom. We offer smoking, nonsmoking and handicap accessible rooms. read more

Front office staff was great.
The elevator was not operating half the time. Rooms advertised as renovated and updated I could not tell were.

Location to the beach and pier 60 was great. Room was very dated and dingy. It had a funny smell that I could not place. Carpet and Furniture were stained in many places. Bed was saggy but clean. The ocean view and staff, at the front desk, was about all it had going for it.

Close to the beach.

Our air conditioner did not work in our room. The toilet ran all the time. There was no sofa like the reservation we made said there would be. The glass sliding door fell off the track and landed on my son, nearly knocking him off the 3rd floor balcony. The air worked in that room, but the light in the bathroom would not come on. We were no expecting it to be top notch, but we did expect to be able to sleep and use the facilities in the rooms. The only saving grace was that we could spend time at the beach - which was located right across the beach. read more
