Liked the beach and facilites behind the hotel.
Had to park my car a block away & couldn't leave parkade without being charged extra.

Hotel was ok, just a little too much purfume being used for what ever reason. Good location but it was not so much having to park the car a block away but that I
knew
that it would cost me extra money over and above the $20 fee if I took the car out anytime during my stay.

No parking, but wish there had been a recommendation to spend money on airport shuttle, not renting a car. No place to park in the whole town.

Enjoyed beach area in front of hotel.
Lack of heat and service.

This hotel was great. The property looked greatly overused. The furniture was very cheap. They were having cool weather and had no heat. The front desk staff and concierge acted as if you were a hindrance to their day. Worst of all, you were charged daily use for the safe,whether you used it or not.

No parking; rooms facing lobby - music played very loud in the lobby in the morning.

Not happy; the room was freezing; had to ask for someone to come take a look twice before I finally got a heater in the room; the control did not work; asked for shower caps twice - never received it; Music in the lobby played very loudly in the morning and our room was facing the lobby on the 2nd floor. There is no counter space in the bathroom to place personals. Not happy at all. read more

Cheap furniture, harsh lighting in public areas.

The hotel had a restaurant and bar. But room furnishings were cheap and the ambiance in the public areas institutional. I've been in hospitals with better atmosphere. To be fair, the pool area was nice, overlooking the ocean with beach access. The staff was super friendly. The bell captain actually took pity on my wife while she was waiting for me to come get her and our luggage (the parking garage was a block down the street); he actually bought her a cup of coffee from a Cuban deli a couple doors down from the hotel. The location is pretty good - located about 25 blocks north of South Beach; the rooms and all public areas were clean. read more

Everything was broken, the bed linens were cheap and I was cold throughout the night, and the food at the hotel was awful.
