The Best Western Balmoral Motor Inn is situated at 511 Brooker Highway, five minutes drive from the centre of the capital city of Tasmania, Hobart. This highway is en route to the North, North West and Western regions of the state. We offer a selection of Non Smoking and Smoking Rooms, all with Cable TV, Full Mini Bars. High-speed Wireless Internet Access is also available on some rooms. Being in such a central location enables guests to enjoy the many and varied attractions of Hobart within minutes of leaving the Balmoral. The wharves are amongst the deepest in the world and encompasses the docks where fishing boats and yachts tie up. Salamanca place, also on the waterfront, houses many old warehouses which have been converted into offices, cafes, restaurants and shops, the latter selling wares which are a shoppers delight. The Balmoral has a delightful in house licensed restaurant for those wishing to dine in. The hotel was standard quality and met our needs.
The location was too far outside of Hobart.

The Best Western Balmoral was quiet and suitable for a family. The staff was friendly and the food was quite good.
