Room was very clean and comfortable, always well supplied.
There was nothing I didn't like.

I was in the area for a family wedding, so there were lots of activities. I only slept and dressed in the room; however, there was a pool, hot tub and gym equipment, if I would have had time. The facility was very comfortable. The restaurant was not open as it is being refurbished. This was fine with me.

Very nice lobby, newly remodeled.
Hotel staff used my computer! My room, and several others (was with a group) stunk of curry.

The hotel has undergone a huge renovation since the big flood of Cedar Rapids in 2008. But there are some big problems. First and foremost, I proved to the manager that hotel staff had used my computer while I was out of my room. That is inexcusable. My room, as well as others in my group, rooms smelled horribly from curry, and they had not other rooms to move us to. I would never stay there again. read more

Staff service and attitude were positive and responsive.
Smoking rooms on same floors a non-smoking rooms.

In spite of the need to open and realize revenue, this property shouldn't open until all aspects of service are ready and recovered from flood of 2008. Restaurant/bar not ready, AC units should be replaced in all rooms since they have mustiness of flood in them; and motel shouldn't allow smoking inside the building. Inadequate air replacement system traps too much second hand smoke on all floors. read more
