Fantastic location! Friendly staff who are quite proud of their motel and the city of Cambria. The staff proudly recommended numerous local restaurants. A real treat. Their restaurant recommendations were right on par, too.

It was right on the beach.

No phone service.

Room literature indicates they seek to be environmental, but all the food items and utensils and disposable meaning they want to save money in the rooms by asking you to reuse towels etc., but are really not concerned about the environment in the least. This is a Pacifica Hotel policy, the company that operates this hotel.

Partial sea view was not true. Smell of sewer gas, people next door sounded like in same room, tour bus parked outside, older whirlpool tub worthless, other hotels nearby one third the cost.

Overall a very fine hotel experience. The room was ready in a timely fashion. The room was clean and their were some nice amenities i.e.; bath robes for two and shampoo/lotion/conditioner.

The location, right across from the most beautiful coastal area.
The back of the room faced the highway, I did not expect the best, but it would have been nice to have something to look at from the window.

More than anything, the location of the hotel was top. The lady at the front desk was a little cranky and she gave us misleading information about a restaurant, causing us to go and wait for an hour when it really was not necessary. There was a young girl being trained, she was delightful.

Budget accommodations for premium price.

Unless you get the front full view rooms the patios are not inviting - basically a setup in the parking lot. The bed was saggy, the shower too short, and the room had some cleanliness issues.
