Clean room, comfortable bed, lots of hot water, and efficient housekeeping staff.
Bathroom and clothes storage areas were a little cramped, but that comes with older buildings.

This hotel was very clean and comfortable, especially considering the bargain price. It's also centrally located. Close to the highway and dining as well as shopping in downtown Grass Valley. The hotel was also very quiet except for the highway noise, although that noise at night is not the norm. At the time of our visit road work was being done on HWY 80 and each night all the big rigs were being detoured to HWY 49 right by the hotel. read more

We liked the abundance of pillow as well as the comfortable bed. The sliding glass door was quite nice too.

I loved the huge king size bed. It was plush and you just sank in. So comfortable.
The only problem we had was that the heater made a funny noise every now and again.

Construction on street in front of hotel.

For an inexpensive hotel that allows dogs, Best Western was great. Not a destination in itself (like one of those fancy hotels), but a very decent place to stay.
