The Golden Buff lodge is ideally located in the vibrant heart of Boulder at the corner of 28th St. and Canyon Blvd. The brand new 29th St. District is adjacent providing shopping, numerous restaurants, as well as a new Century Theaters 18 screen complex. We always endeavor to surpass your expectations, squeezing as much as possible into the price of your room. Things that are most often charged at other properties are complementary at the Buff: twin T-1 internet access, Continental Breakfast, local and long distance calls to the US, Canada, and Western Europe, room coffee, newspapers, any amenities you might have forgotten, etc,etc,etc. Our goal has always been to provide the best lodging value in Boulder. My alarm clock didn't work; I switched rooms

The location was excellent and in walking distance from numerous restaurants and a mall. The Great Buff Diner has the best breakfast in town. Highly recommended for a cheap room with all the necessities.

I loved the refrigerator in the room, the coffee maker and the location.
The room arrangement was weird.

It was like a home away from home. You had conveniences, great hospitality and towels were great. I think that getting rid of the little bottles of shampoo and conditioner and all the little bars of soap was a great idea. I like the option of keeping the towels. Please thank the housekeeping staff for me.

Beds are quite comfortable.
Older property, bathrooms need a makeover.

For the money, not too bad. Older property, pretty well maintained by the looks of it. Motor-hotel layout, with drive-up access and exterior hallways. Surprisingly comfortable pillowtop beds, large room with oversize vanity, modern TV and high-speed internet. The toilet and shower room looks and feels old. It could really use some white paint and a bright light.
