Description of Harbor Shores On Lake Geneva
This 2 Diamond AAA rated hotel is ideally located on Lake Geneva with easy access to Geneva Lake Cruise Line, Riviera Beach, Riviera Ballroom, Grand Geneva Resort, Aerial Adventures, and within minutes of a variety of dining and shopping options. All guest rooms are exquisitely decorated. Lakefront rooms have balconies overlooking the majestic waters, and Parkview rooms face Seminary Park, conveniently located behind our property, perfect for a family picnic. Room amenities include high speed internet and wireless internet, kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, wet bar and coffeemaker, free local calls, cable TV with DVD player, iron and ironing board, and a work area with dataports. Accessible rooms are available, and there is an elevator on the premises. Children age 17 and under stay free with paying adult. We regret that we are unable to accept pets. Property amenities at this Magnuson Hotels affiliate include direct beach access, an indoor and outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, Ginos East Restaurant and Bar, complimentary continental breakfast, high speed internet, 24 hour front desk, and banquet facilities to accommodate groups of up to 250. The view was awesome.
It was outdated and had terrible bedding!

I love Lake Geneva, but certainly would not stay at this hotel again. We had guests come to visit and had some cocktails in our room. It was kind of embarrassing. The attached restaurant Gino East Pizzeria was great. Excellent food.

I enjoyed seeing Geneva Lake from our room.
Bed was very uncomfortable. I am spoiled with pillow top mattresses.

I have stayed in hotels that have purchased mattress toppers to place on top of a regular mattress to be more comfortable. Room was very clean and no foul odors.

Definitely showing its age.

This hotel is a good value. I wouldn't be willing to pay the peak season rates though. Great location right across the street from the lake and just down the street from all of the Downtown shopping. The room layout wasn't the most exciting, but it's always nice to have a small kitchenette, including a fridge and microwave. Overall, it felt more like a (somewhat large) dorm room than a comfortable hotel room. Some updating would be nice, but I don't have much to complain about. read more

Good location, reasonable price.
Room smelled of pine air freshener.

I enjoyed my stay here. It's situated in a great location, and has some nice amenities. Having Gino's East attached to the hotel was a nice perk. Parking can be a little tight at times. Room was nice but had a somewhat strong pine scent near the door. Not a huge deal but it was noticeable. Overall, for the price, I would recommend staying here.

Recreation area better than expected.
Complimentary breakfast ended at 9am, too early.

Overall this was a good choice we made. Good location and good value. Would recommend to friends.

Very close to the lake.
The lake view was over a building.

Decent hotel for the price in this area. I've stayed in better hotels for cheaper, but Lake Geneva is expensive compared to other areas. I liked that we could walk to everything.

Non-smoking room smelled like a smoking room.

Pricey for the old look of the room, smoky smell, and dirty windows.

Quick to accommodate any special requests, i.e. extra towels, pillows.
Breakfast area and food presentation containers in this area were not very clean.

Overall, a pleasant experience and would recommend to others.
