Newly decorated and updated.
Commode made noise.
Decent hotel. Clean and updated. Staff helpful. Commode was power flush type and made noises; had to turn off water. I would stay there again if in the area.

Someone knocked and entered my room when I was there before I got to the door.
I enjoyed the accommodations except for the person entering my room without giving me time to get to the door. It was very upsetting since I was traveling alone. It made me somewhat fearful.

Everything.
Nothing.
The hotel was great, very clean and quiet, 30ft too the beach, close to the naval base and just enough shops nearby. We will stay every time I visit Norfolk. Thanks best Western.

I likeed the hotel because it is located on the beach.
The hotel does not have a lot of parking spaces, if you come in late at night.
I like staying at this hotel because it has a secure beach entrance. The continental breakfast could be a little bit better; they should offer some type of fruit. Also if you come in late at night, you can't find a place to park.

Being on the beach and having a pool.
The breakfast had a lot to be desired. It wasn't close to any nice food places, The staff could have been a little more helpful.
This was a very nice enjoyable place to stay and relax on the beach or by the pool. However, if you are looking to find a nice known place to eat there wasn't anything close. There isn't anything good to say about the breakfast or the coffee. The beds were comfy but the sleeper sofa had seen better days. The staff didn't go that extra mile and it would have been nice of them to inform the customers checking out that the Norfolk Tunnel was going to be close for quiet a while for cleaning (really put a kink in getting home). read more

It was close to the beach.
The room I was booked for was so small that we could barely move around in it.

The internet states beach front, this was not on he beach it was on some type of inlet - the pool had no water in it.
A strange man that was staying in this hotel walked by our room more than 10 times in the hour that we were there-staring into room.
The carpet was wet and musty smell, for mine and my 14 year old daughters safety, we got a room 40 minutes away from Norfolk.
