Best Western Inn By The Sea

This is a great place to stay at a reasonable rate in a wonderful location.

This hotel was practically empty during my one night stay. In any case, the clerk at the front desk kindly put me right next to the stair case on the fifth floor. It was great listening to the door bang throughout the night! Other highlights: the room smelled musty, the air conditioner did not work, and if you have a car, expect to pay a $12 per day parking fee

Cozy and roomy. The AC unit was a bit loud. The location is fantastic and the staff was all helpful. The previous noise complaints were seemingly handled with the recent remodel.

I thought this hotel was perfect for my needs. Walking distance to the beach, even for children. Within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The kids enjoyed the pool. The continental breakfast had a lot of variety. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly.

We were so surprised to see how nice the hotel was and how centrally located it was. We are so pleased and will certainly go back.

very friendly but not the check in staff. They seemed to want to be elsewhere while checking in and out.

This hotel was disappointing. The rooms air conditioning system wasnt functioning properly, the bed wasnt much better than the floor, and we could hear the lady next door moaning. Nice. The seals at La Jolla cove made the whole trip. Go see them if your in the area.

Good for a short stay for business traveler. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Hotel is noisy next to a narrow street where everything echoes. Hotel was possibly remodeled but you can tell the hotel is old. Costs $12.00 to park not included in cost.
