Funky, relatively clean and quiet. has a 1/2 price breakfast, albeit low quality. Good north side location.

Older building, nicely restored and upkept. Very large spacious rooms. Never had to touch the thermostat even in the real cold winter weather. The room was very comfortable. Nicely decorated with lots of local arts and crafts on display and for sale. Good hot breakfast buffet for 1/2 price for hotel guests and 1/2 off first drink in the on-site lounge. These were not free. Somewhat annoying, but, not a big deterrent to staying there. Best Western property. They seem to do a real good job. The room had plenty of electrical outlets and free internet access. No fridges or microwaves, but, this was not a big deal to us. Free in-room coffee and cable TV was nice too. The price was great too. ...

The hotel blends in well to its surroundings with its South-Western design and layout. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It meets expectations of a 2 star hotel.

The rooms were just fine for my family, with a little nook for our suitcases. We enjoyed the Taos Pueblo dancers right there on site nightly. The housekeeping service was spotty---not enough towels one day, no soap the next, etc. The breakfast service was grouchy! We weren't even offered our coffee until we were done with our meals (twice)---yikes. They could easily fix this by offering self-serve coffee. Must. Have. Coffee. ...

I have to say, this is the 2nd worse hotel I have ever stayed at and I have stayed at some very budget-style hotels! The service is extremely poor- they were frustrated, the room was actually quite disgusting.

Old property with old furnishings, however pretty well kept up. If you need a luxurious bathroom this is not the place. Large room, quiet property, friendly and helpful staff. Great to be able to sit outside in the evening and visit. Poor quality, uninterested dancers who give you the minimum amount they would like for a donation. The hotel ought to drop this event.
