Location, coziness, appearance, cleanliness, and comfort.
Parking was a little bit tight, the phone in the room didn't work.

The hotel was convenient to the places I needed to go while in the Chicago area. It was a very comfortable room, no frills, but when I come to Chicago on business, I don't spend much time in a hotel room. This room was great, clean, bright, had a good bed, television with plenty of channels, the shower and linens were clean, the Internet connection worked, the check in and check out was quick, the breakfast was great. read more

Hotel was very simple and very clean; on a main road and easy to find.
The area provided to eat breakfast was very small and crowded with tables; about 10'x10'.

Recommended for singles or couples going through the town for a couple of days.

I was generally pleased with this hotel. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a good location and easily accessible from I-94. I also enjoyed the hot/cold breakfast service. That was a pleasant benefit of staying at this hotel. The hotel is loaded with marble accents in the common use areas and in the hotel rooms. The hotel has also recently added a new plastering facade to the exterior, but make no mistake, this is a small, older hotel that could use further renovations. read more

The toilet did not flush very well.

Hotel way nice enough for me. May not not be for just anyone. The only thing that was not acceptable was the toilet that did not flush very well.

It was very convenient to the area and family I was visiting.
It did not have real curb appeal. It lacked what it takes to really want people to come back.

Hotel met my basic needs, but would not be a place I would recommend if anything was available at the same price.
