The rooms were very nice and the beds were very comfortable.
There really was nothing that I did not like about this hotel.
We only stayed one night, but we were safe and comfortable. Although I did not eat at the continental breakfast, I did hear from other guests that it was great.

The rooms were very clean, the staff very friendly.
We drove 5 hours and spent all day touring downtown DC then driving in traffic to the hotel, when we got there the desk clerk was very nice and the room very clean and inviting. It was very convenient to shops and restaurants so we didn't have to drive far when we were tired. The next morning the breakfast at the hotel was great to start our day on another day of sightseeing.

Friendly staff.
Having to sign agreement to pay 300 bucks if smoked in room.
Clean, safe and comfortable for the money. Lousy breakfast buffet included with room price. Desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

Easy to find on Richmond Highway.
Very strong cleaner chemical in the room.
The people at the desk were very helpful and courteous. The bedding pillows were various firmnesses and there were a lot of them. I loved that.

Location to the main road.
Lack of things to do on site.
This is a no frills single star hotel. Great location to the highway, however nothing to do when you are there.

The remodeled rooms are great.
I had to move to another hotel as soon as I entered the room because the air condition was on and the fan was blowing hot and the fan was rattling.
This hotel has been remodeled at it looks awesome. I can tell the maids make sure the room and towels (fanned out like a flower) are presented well. I do believe there are still some maintenance issues. The grill on the air condition was broken and the fan was broken and rattling and produced no air. I heard all this "sound" from the air condition when I entered. Someone must have known this when they turned it on. Needless to say I was given a room right away. The receptionist switched my room right away! I was kind and appreciated their quick response. read more

The gentlemen who worked the front desk during the time I was there was friendly and eager to help.
Other than one person, the staff was either rude or indifferent.
This hotel is clean, but not a "warm" environment. It was below my personal expectation, as a business traveler, and I would never take my family. The rooms were clean, but reminded me of a hospital room. My TV was broken and the internet connection ran fairly slow. The breakfast provided was sub-par to say the least. If you are looking for a quiet place to lay your head, this is adequate. If you are vacationing or looking for planning a long term stay, for the money I highly recommend looking elsewhere. If not for the fact I needed a shower for work daily, I could of had as good experience sleeping in my car and saved a lot of money. read more

Much better than I expected for the price.
Inconvenient location.
Very, very nice. The rooms were gorgeous, the staff was beyond friendly, and the continental breakfast was good, the wireless internet worked well. I've stayed at places that were much more expensive that were terrible compared to this place. My only complaint is that it was pretty far away from Washington, DC; about 15 miles, and with the traffic it took us nearly an hour to get there. It was well worth the trip, though. read more
