Easy access from interstate highway
Bed could be more comfortable - I have a bad back

The hotel was clean, the staff at check-in was friendly. The room was nice - roomy and clean. Nothing up-scale just a very nice, comfortable atmosphere for a one-night stay. The parking lot was well lighted and clean as well. I did not feel uncomfortable about leaving my car parked there.

The price we got the room for.

Rooms very basic, beds not that comfortable, breakfast was served from 6 till 10 am, we went down at 8 am, and there was nothing there! Their continental breakfast was toast, bagels and danish pastries, which was all just about gone by 8 am! There was no butter, so we asked for some, the girl at reception went looking for some for us, came back stating sorry there wasn't any, and gave us what was left of a used up bottle of squeeze low fat spread to put on our toast! Not impressed at all! Do not use this hotel if you, like myself look forward to a nice hotel breakfast in the morning before you carry on with your journey! read more

Clean, well kept, nonsmoking.
There is nothing to say in this box.

Cooperative desk manager changed the time of breakfast to accommodate riders (myself included) in a local cycling event (Assault on Mount Mitchell). Everything was clean and shiny, and I very much appreciated that the whole hotel was non-smoking.

It was in convenient driving distance to my location.
The continental breakfast did not have waffles-my favorite part of breakfast.

Good choice for travelers wanting a little more than basic accommodations.

My wife was not afraid to take her socks off in our room.
Nothing bad to say.

One of the best Best Westerns I've stayed in. It was nice and clean with a new look to the whole place. Would stay there again.

I was clean. The morning clerk was fantastic and redeemed an ugly situation created by the night clerk.
The night clerk was the reason for the low staff rating - it would have been a 1 except for the morning clerk taking care of it before we talked to higher.

The night clerk was horrible! She was dressed in a T shirt which was torn down low to display her cleavage. She had a bad attitude and tone to boot. It took her 20 minutes to check us into 2 rooms (there was no line). Apparently, she was pissed that she had to work the holiday and took it out on us and her employer. She didn't know what she was doing and she was extremely unprofessional. read more

Clean and friendly, breakfast lady was very nice.
Hot tub too hot. Desk help temp. Knew nothing. Over charged.

The hotel staff didn't show up late night and early morning. The hours were there. The lady at the desk was housekeeping. She was nice but knew nothing. We told them we were over charged and she tried but didn't know what to do The hot tub was extremely hot. Dangerously so. We told them and they should have added cold water or something. They didn't.

Clean, not crowded, inside corridors.
Difficult to find from the highway - not far but no signage.

I felt secure and safe. Room was clean and in good condition. Exercise equipment was limited to cardio workout but it was up-to-date and in good condition. Breakfast was adequate, usual high crab offerings but variety was decent.
