I paid more than 100 bucks for the hotel, and very disappointed with the hotel facilities with this price. Next time, I'll try not to stay in the neighborhood since there isn't many options for hotels in Carlsbad.

The rooms were clean and clean regularly.
The only discomfort was the stiff bed.

The room had a moth ball smell when we arrived, after a few hours the a/c being on it seemed to go away, the a/c worked great the rooms were cleaned as soon as we left the room, the beds and towels were clean. A little steep in pricing but I would rather pay a few extra dollars for a clean hotel.

Nice pool.
Not very clean rooms, housekeeping sprayed areas of bathroom and did not remember to wipe.

I do not think this hotel was worth $81.00. The pool area was nice, the rooms had ceilings that looked like they were outdoor, and the room was not very clean. The hotel lobby is not a good representation of the hotel, the lobby looks more upscale than the rooms.
