Very clean and staff was very helpful with providing information.
The exercise room was under construction.

We will be planning on staying at this hotel again when making a trip to Chicago.

Very little to like for the price.
Remodeling, no exercise room or alternative offered, lobby not at all guest friendly,.

Much of the hotel was closed due to remodeling; we chose this spot expecting all the amenities including exercise room and continental breakfast. Staff was neither friendly nor helpful.

Nothing.
They did not have a room for us and try to rip us off.

This is the worst experience that we have ever had.

The view.
Dirty, uncared for, not worth the money paid.

Key system did not work so we had to be walked to room every time we wanted to get back in. The air conditioning was out in lobby.

Away from city but close to rail train.
Old rooms.

The hotel had all of the necessities and was far away from city but close to train to city.

I liked leaving.
I really did not like anything.

The food was bad real bad and to think I paid 7.95 for it I don't mind paying 20.00 but give me fresh food not dried dead eggs the staff never smiled once and made me feel as though I was interrupting there day or personal conversations and the room was in horrible condition the door was hard to get into the shower looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks I could go on but do not feel as it would do any good as the staff at the hotel was just unresponsive the guy mopping the marble floor should really put a sigh down not just around one corner but visible to all as I almost busted my ass or maybe not mop the floor during checkout time imp sure no one will notice the floor as the rooms are in such bad shape. read more

Good location.
Unfriendly staff and bugs.

When I checked in my reservation requests were ignored and the staff was not friendly. Part of the reason that I picked this hotel over the Orrington was because it was stated that parking was free. Parking turned out to be $14 a night. I ended up having to change rooms three times and the staff was very huffy and acted inconvenienced that I wanted to move when my room was infested with spiders. Next time I will pay the ten extra dollars a night and stay at the Orrington which is a much better property. read more

Needs to be updated if they are going to charge this price.
Our room smelled of mildew from the bathroom. noisy air conditioners.

Great location, near the train and a quick trip to the city. nice neighborhood and great restaurant and shops near by. the hotel was not as clean as I would have liked. Old decor and our room bath smelled like mildew. The air conditioners was very noisy.

Room was clean and comfortable.
Price was high for what a basic hotel room.

Basic clean and comfortable room. Expensive considering no special amenities or location.
