Toilet would not flush and was not repaired. No consideration by hotel manager.

Poor location, view of freeway, worried about safety of location, mattresses were old and worn out, room smelled of chlorine, breakfast area unkempt (no coffee in pot either morning), no maintenance on-site, front desk response to our inability to flush toilet, the manager said ‘you weren't flushing it correctly’, we were forced to use lobby restrooms for two days! No consideration offered by hotel for this significant inconvenience. read more

The price.
The floors were too thin and it felt like a college apt.

The hotel was clean but not as nice as I had hoped. It felt like staying at a college boy's apartment. The price was reasonable. The location was great as far as convenience to restaurants and locations we visited, but the hotel sits across the street from a railroad. We were so close to the trains that our walls rattled and of course the noise woke us every time a train passed during the night--which happened more than one would think. Also, the floors were so thin that we couldn't walk freely in our room without disturbing the downstairs neighbors. read more
