Every room gives breathtaking views of either sunsets on the Intracoastal Waterway or moonrises over the Atlantic Ocean. Did not get sound side room I was guaranteed.

Definitely not a resort. Just an average motel in a great location. Phone didn't work causing me to miss nine messages. Fixed promptly when problem detected. Outgoing calls are $1, so take cell. Room service awful. Good complimentary breakfast. Young, friendly staff. Unappealing, uncomfortable lobby.

Beautiful setting, ocean view, wonderful staff.
Halls are a little sparse, no decorations. Tile floors in the rooms are very clean but a bit cold to walk on in bare feet in the winter. Take sandals.

This is the best hotel in Wrights ville Beach. I have always wanted to stay here but could not afford the price. The hotel has a lovely oceanside garden with pool and bar. Weddings are often performed in the garden or on the beach in front of the hotel. The free breakfast was a big plus. It was generous, full, and completely satisfying. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the public areas are friendly.
The room was rather cheap looking, no towel racks in the bathroom, tile floor with no bed side rugs--

The hotel is in an excellent location on the nicest beach in the Wilmington area. Although the hotel is probably from the 60's, it has been well kept up. The grounds are incredibly beautiful, leading down to the shore. Good value for the money!

I really liked the cocktails on the beach. And the room was absolutely beautiful!
The shower was not regulated to close. It remains open the whole shower which got the floor all wet.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I went as a romantic getaway and it turned out to be the best resort hotel I have ever stayed at. The service was attentive, the rooms were stocked with bath and body works products, the bed was absolutely comfortable. Something to just sink into, and the view was breathtaking! The location was far enough away so that it was quiet, but close enough to get where you wanted to go. This was one of the best vacations I have taken and I plan on returning again! read more

Nice ocean access with pool and bar ocean side.
The rooms were very dated. The motel needed work on exterior.

I feel this hotel cost too much for the age, look and feel of it. It is in a nice location but was very shocked at the look of the hotel when I arrived. Lunch by the pool sounded nice but food not good and priced way to high for the quality. I was expecting so much more for the price of motel and food.

Dirty room, could not get cleaned up, loose toilet seat never fixed, unable to reach anyone in charge, restaurant filthy, No management apparent.

Very poor to no management, poor service to none, great location, filthy room. Inexcusable lack of service.

Beautiful hotel, great location, wonderful dining and gorgeous beach front.
The staff is far less than courteous and supportive.

If location, ambiance and views are important to you, this is the place. If you are looking for outstanding service, move on. We will probably go back eventually, with lowered customer service expectations.

The pool was not open.

Beautiful gardens in back. Beach is clean, chairs provided and harbor view is lovely
